White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday that ESPN anchor Jemele Hill should be fired for the tweets she posted about the president on Monday, according to The Daily Caller.
Hill called President Trump a white supremacist amongst a slew of other claims she made on Twitter, sans evidence.

“That is one of the more outrageous comments that anyone could make and certainly something that is a fireable offense by ESPN,” Sanders said.
Sanders noted that she wasn’t sure if the president is aware of Hill’s comments, but made it very clear how the White House thinks ESPN should handle the situation.
ESPN denounced Hill’s comments in a statement:
“The comments on Twitter from Jemele Hill regarding the President do not represent the position of ESPN,” the sports network’s public relations department said in the statement. “We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate.”
